Job summary

Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Mission Critical (Data Center) Low Voltage Technician in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The position involves installation, testing, and maintenance of low voltage cabling systems, with travel to other Data Center locations as required.

Ideal candidates possess a BICSI Technician accreditation or equivalent, or 4 years of experience, and hold or can obtain a State Apprentice License.

Qualifications

  • Team-oriented with a positive, honest, detail-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel to other Data Center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and report to Senior Cabling Technician for installation and diagnostic maintenance of premises cabling equipment.
  • Install, terminate, and test copper or fiber optic low voltage cabling systems.
  • Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures.
  • May be responsible for grounding and bonding.
  • May be responsible for installation of network switches.
  • Learn basic working knowledge of company sales products.
  • Collaborate with Telecommunications Technicians and installers on projects.
