Job summary

Referment seeks a data center infrastructure engineer focused on high-density liquid cooling for its New Jersey facilities. You will drive from specification to production capacity, ensuring power, cooling and space meet evolving hardware needs.

You will oversee vendors, develop runbooks, validate deployments, and pilot next-generation cooling systems in lab and production, with a data-driven approach and strong DCIM tooling, onsite work, and potential travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center operations or equivalent.
• Experience with high-uptime facilities and technical ownership.

Responsibilities

• Support design and deployment of high-density infrastructure from spec to field execution.
• Manage site capacity across power, cooling and space to stay within operating limits.
• Oversee vendors installing specialized infrastructure and ensure power/thermal requirements are met.
• Develop runbooks and validate deployments for production readiness.
• Pilot next-generation cooling, including liquid-to-chip systems and secondary loops, in lab and production.
• Maintain accurate monitoring and inventory records and support complex hardware issues.
