Job summary

Fluid2Chip is seeking experienced Field Engineers to support deployment, commissioning, and readiness of mission-critical liquid cooling systems in data centers across the United States. This on-site role is highly field-oriented and customer-focused, requiring technical awareness, clear communication, and disciplined documentation.

The ideal candidate will understand mechanical and chemical needs of cooling systems, observe installation quality, and quickly identify risks before issues arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) or related field.
• Equivalent hands-on experience in water treatment, commissioning, or complex fluid systems may be considered.
• Experience with mission-critical cooling systems or hydronic/industrial water systems is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical understanding of fluid-based cooling systems.
• Ability to identify issues and communicate them professionally.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer/project sites.

Responsibilities

• Observe and support installation, commissioning, cleaning, flushing, fill/purge, startup, and operational readiness activities for cooling systems.
• Serve as a customer-facing technical representative at active project sites.
• Monitor field activities and identify potential concerns related to system quality and readiness.
• Understand chemical and mechanical requirements of closed-loop cooling systems.
• Maintain detailed daily reporting, field observations, and issue tracking.
• Communicate findings and project updates through established processes.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and project teams during deployment.
• Support field coordination while recognizing contractor responsibility.
• Escalate issues and seek technical support when needed.
• Ensure adherence to site procedures, safety, and commissioning standards.
• Represent Fluid2Chip professionally in high-visibility environments.
