Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Owner’s Rep/Senior Project Manager to lead large, high-profile construction projects with direct accountability for delivery.

You’ll manage project scope, budgets, schedules and risk, review contractor and vendor documentation, and coordinate with cost advisory teams to optimize the direct/indirect cost budget. Relocation assistance offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing large construction projects with direct accountability for delivery.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace products (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance with drawings and specs.
• Review contractor and vendor documentation, including cost requisitions and budgets.
• Prepare project status and risk assessments; advise on release of funds.
• Coordinate with cost advisory groups for estimates and quantity take-offs.
• Oversee contract terms with subcontracts and design/build agreements.
• Communicate complex ideas effectively across multi-discipline teams.
