Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Owner's Rep/Senior Project Manager to oversee large construction projects with direct delivery accountability. The role is onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA, with relocation support for the right candidate.

You will lead site visits, review contractor docs, and prepare risk and status reports, ensuring alignment with drawings and budgets while collaborating with multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Innovative mentality to develop methods beyond existing solutions.
• Ability to solve unique problems with broad business impact.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Suite products (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Chat, Gmail).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to perform complex financial calculations (percentages, fractions).

Responsibilities

• Manage large, high-profile construction projects for clients with delivery accountability.
• Conduct periodic site visits and verify work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Review contractor/vendor documentation including cost requisitions and budgets.
• Prepare project status and risk assessment reports; advise on construction funds.
• Evaluate budgets and coordinate with cost advisory for estimates.
• Comment on terms of construction agreements; ensure up-to-date qualifications.
• Oversee schedules, permits, surveys, and approvals.
• Coach and develop team expertise across the function.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE/Turner & Townsend values.
