Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Data Hall Construction Manager/Owners Representative to lead installation, oversight, and project management for new build data centers. This onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA involves vendor compliance, budget control, and schedule management, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 3-5 years of related project or 10 plus years related Mechanical experience without a degree.
• Technical Project Management or Coordination experience in Mission Critical or Industrial facilities project management.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to operate BIM or ACC and P6 and assist in cost and issue management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Master Project Timeline with contractor/A&E teams.
• Oversee technical implementation of Data Hall systems including containment, cooling, and server floor infra.
• Support pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Coordinate Design Team activities and constructability reviews.
• Provide cost estimates with subs/vendors for scope changes.
• Manage cost/change control, including submittals, RFIs, and payments.
• Coordinate owner-direct vendors and monitor safety practices on site.
• Lead close-out processes with document control, warranties, and manuals.
• Ensure punch lists and final completion are completed on site.
