Job summary

GXO Logistics in South Carolina is seeking a Data Center Lead to oversee a warehouse team and ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will supervise the shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:00pm, and utilize SAP and WMS to manage inventory and order fulfillment.

You will train and coach staff, enforce safety and company policies, and maintain accurate records while delivering exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels and timely, accurate orders.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; recommend performance improvements as needed.
• Utilize warehouse management system and maintain accurate work documents.
• Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate equipment and provide support to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and/or supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment per the 7S program.
