Job summary

Asiacom Americas Inc. is seeking a data center/network engineer to ensure availability and reliability of multiple data centers. You will install and upgrade routers, switches, and servers, and map LAN/SAN fiber optic cabling.

The role requires Linux experience, issue resolution, and adherence to change management processes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IDC/Network Center operations, strong TCP/IP, switching, routing, and optical skills, plus a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Experience installing servers and configuring networks.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, switching, routing, and optical communication.
• 3+ years in data center maintenance/operations (IDC or Network Center).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and reliability of multiple data centers to support enterprise operations.
• Install, configure and upgrade routers, switches, servers; map out LAN and SAN fiber optic cabling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise servers running on Linux (Red Hat); respond to system health alerts.
