Job summary

Asiacom Americas Inc. is seeking field engineers to ensure availability and reliability of multiple data centers in Georgia. You will install, configure, and upgrade routers, switches, and servers, and map out LAN and SAN fiber cabling.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of IDC/Network Center maintenance experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and familiarity with TCP/IP and Linux, with Mandarin a plus for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/CE/EE or related field.
3+ years of maintenance/operation experience at an IDC or Network Center.
Mandarin language skills (Chinese) are a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure availability and reliability of multiple data centers for enterprise operations.
Install, configure and upgrade routers, switches, servers; map, run and connect LAN and SAN fiber cabling.
Perform calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers running Red Hat Linux to sustain performance.
Analyze system health and respond to network alerts; escalate tickets using standard procedures.
Assist in data center migrations, rack and label assets in asset management system.
Support capacity planning by conducting power/cooling audits in data halls.
