Job summary

The role requires experience in server installation and network configuration, familiarity with TCP/IP and significant troubleshooting abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. This position offers engagement with an experienced team dedicated to IT Managed Services and client support.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience in maintenance & operation at an IDC or Network Center.
• Ability to analyze and monitor system health and respond to alerts.
• Understanding of ITIL-based configuration and change management.

We are hiring several professional and motivated field engineers who are team players, fast learners, and able to deliver precise and detailed work on a 24/7 basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability and reliability of multiple data centers to meet enterprise operation requirements.
• Install, configure and upgrade routers, switches, servers, and map out, run and connect LAN and SAN fiber optic network cabling.
• Perform ongoing calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise servers running on Red‑Hat Linux to sustain proper performance levels.
• Analyze and monitor system health, respond appropriately to network alerts and events, and use standard ticket‑handling procedures to properly escalated tickets when necessary.
• Assist in data center migrations between sites by racking, labeling both physically and logically on an asset management application, using an ITL‑based configuration and change management process.
• Support data center capacity planning and construction by conducting power and cooling audits on data halls to validate available capacity for rack infills.
• Record and maintain accurate incident and change records to safeguard the quality of operations, escort vendors, and ensure client policies are followed.

Requirements

• Experience in server installation and network configuration.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, switching, routing, and optical communication technology.
• At least 1 year of work experience in maintenance & operation at an IDC or Network Center.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Speaking Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
