Job summary

OVHcloud US is seeking a Lead Data Center Inventory Control Specialist to own the full lifecycle of hardware inventory at the data center site. You will procure, receive, stock, track, budget, and manage returns while coordinating with operations and management to ensure stock integrity and on-time customer commitments.

Based at the data center, you will operate as the on-site lead, enforcing security, training staff, and driving best-practice stock management processes to sustain service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in inventory control or a similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory management software.
• Ability to manage inventory budgets and procurement.
• Proficiency with enterprise inventory and operations systems (SAP, Tableau, Jira, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of hardware or data servers.
• Experience presenting operational data to management and teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
• Thoroughness and organizational skills.
• Proactive, with strong anticipation skills.
• Able to teach others and be diplomatic.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, stock, and input receipts into the information system.
• Manage backorders and optimize inventory to meet customer commitments.
• Oversee shipments and packaging, and record stock movements in SAP/Tableau/Jira.
• Maintain stock accuracy, conduct inventory checks, and report procurement issues.
• Train staff on inventory processes and best practices; enforce security and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on orders and replenishment; manage site budget.
