Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to develop P&ID diagrams and panel designs for advanced facilities. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, collaborating with global multidisciplinary teams on data center, semiconductor, and manufacturing projects.

The role requires a degree in engineering, experience in instrumentation and controls, and proficiency with BIM tools like BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience in instrumentation and controls
• Familiarity with P&IDs
• 2+ years BIM design experience
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
