Align Communications is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee large-scale data center cabling deployments across the U.S. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, budgeting, and on-time delivery while collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data center infra, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and PM tools. Travel up to ~50% is expected with potential relocation assistance for nearby projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data center or large-scale infrastructure deployments.
• Experience leading multiple teams, vendors, and locations.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and client expectations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and project management/scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk logs.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, reports, and closeout docs.
• Monitor materials, equipment readiness, labor, and costs.
• Lead client and internal project meetings with clear status updates.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to meet project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
