Align Communications in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center infrastructure and cabling deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, report, and drive on-time, within-budget delivery with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or large IT infrastructure, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and PMO tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data centers or large IT infrastructure deployments.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, vendors, and locations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and closeout documentation.
• Lead client and internal project meetings and provide status updates.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
