Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Data Center and Infrastructure Platform Manager to lead enterprise data center operations within the Cloud & Compute Platforms team. This role reports to the Director and can be on-site or hybrid, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and performance across compute, storage, backup, and DR services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise data center or infrastructure operations in a large environment.
• Proven people leadership including coaching and performance management.
• Experience with regulated environments and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise data center operations and infrastructure platforms.
• Lead a team of infrastructure professionals covering compute, storage, backup, and DR operations.
• Execute capacity planning to ensure scalability, performance, and business continuity.
• Align operational roadmaps with Director and executive leadership objectives.
• Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and governance for infrastructure platforms.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity across services.
• Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Drive efficiency, stability, and cost optimization across data center operations.
• Collaborate with architecture, cloud, networking, and security teams for alignment.
• Monitor trends and recommend modernization opportunities.
• Plan departmental priorities in coordination with the Director.
