Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance Company seeks a Data Center and Infrastructure Platform Manager to lead global data center operations and enterprise compute, storage, and DR strategies. You will oversee a team, drive operational excellence, and align with IT objectives defined by leadership.

You will partner with architecture, cloud, networking, and cybersecurity teams to ensure reliability and security while optimizing costs and performance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading enterprise data center or infrastructure operations.
• Experience managing global, multi-site data center operations in a large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of data center operations, server infrastructure, storage, backup, DR and service availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for Pacific Life’s enterprise data center environment with focus on high availability, resiliency and security.
• Lead and develop a team of infrastructure platform professionals responsible for compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data center operations.
• Drive capacity planning, ensure scalability, performance and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain standards, governance, incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management.
