Job summary

Not disclosed company is seeking a data center technician to deploy end-to-end technologies, track assets and cabling, and monitor alarms for data center equipment. You will respond to incident tickets and complete change requests as assigned.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent experience. Preferred: HVAC/CRAC, cabling, BAS, and data center systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience from applicable knowledge, duties and scope.
• Experience with HVAC/CRAC, chillers, air handlers, UPS, switchgear, generators, BAS preferred.
• Experience with structured cabling copper/fiber and data center concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deploys data center end-to-end technologies and tracks assets and cabling.
• Monitors alarms for data center equipment and responds to incidents.
• Responds to MEP alarms and completes change requests as assigned.
• Handles incident tickets and performs related tasks as directed.
