Job summary

Somerset Staffing is seeking a data center technician to deploy end-to-end data center technologies, track assets and cabling, and monitor alarms in the facility.

You will respond to incident tickets and change requests, work with MEP systems, cooling equipment, BAS, and structured cabling, using a bachelor's degree and hands-on problem solving.

Educational background in quantitative or business fields is required, with 2-4 years of related experience preferred.

Position Purpose:

Deploys data center related end-to-end technologies. Tracks assets and cabling using standard documentation. Monitors and responds to alarms for data center equipment. Monitors and responds to alarms for the mechanical/electric plant (MEP). Completes change requests and associated tasks as assigned. Responds to incident tickets as assigned.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 4 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

One or more of the following skills are desired.

Experience with Change Management

Soft Skills:
