Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an HVAC Data Center Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical cooling systems supporting data center environments. The role ensures reliable operation of cooling infrastructure to maintain optimal temperature and humidity for IT equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency.

The position requires EPA 608 certification, 2+ years of HVAC experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with BMS/BAS systems for monitoring and control.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance.
• Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed.
• Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets.
• Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents.
