Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC and plumbing for data centers. You will design and lead projects across HyperScale and Colocation facilities, ensuring safe, efficient air and water systems with energy-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and construction activities, including Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
• Design HVAC and plumbing for HyperScale and Colocation Data Centers including admin and support spaces.
• Support areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, and various electrical/chemical spaces.
• Conduct Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces.
• Carry out energy audits, code reviews, and LEED-oriented sustainable design.
