Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform L1-L3 pre-commissioning on HVAC systems within a data centre construction environment in Dallas, TX. The role involves completing punch list repairs, and minor electrical, mechanical, and HVAC tasks under project leadership.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance with lockout/tagout protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within industrial or construction contexts.
• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting on chillers and boilers.
• Electrical maintenance to complete minor punch list items safely.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/mechanical systems.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair.
• Installation/servicing of HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform L1-L3 pre-commissioning on HVAC systems in a data centre construction setting.
• Complete mechanical/electrical punch list items under supervision of project leadership.
• Address HVAC/chiller punch list items and associated repairs per safety standards.
• Support installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, boilers, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and perform corrective actions.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of HVAC systems.
• Handle refrigerants per licensing/regulatory requirements and follow LOTO/safety protocols.
• Use appropriate tools and PPE in an industrial/construction environment.
• Collaborate with technicians and project leaders to complete tasks on schedule.
