Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years in a Data Center Engineering Role.
• 2+ years Linux troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years server hardware troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform break-fix repairs on server or network hardware components.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues from contracted technicians and escalate unresolved ones.
• Install new SSDs and NVMe drives into existing servers.
• Conduct basic Linux OS and IPMI-level troubleshooting across server platforms.
• Assist engineers with autobuild (Linux Kickstart) failures, including straggler nodes.
• Diagnose and resolve physical-layer network connectivity issues.
• Execute hardware installations and repairs outside planned growth projects.
• Monitor Jira ticket queue and ensure proper ticket handling by contractors.
• Onboard and train contracted data center technicians.
• Mentor contracted staff to improve quality and consistency.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support global operations.
