Metric is seeking a Finance & Forecasting Manager to lead project-level forecasting across a growing portfolio of infrastructure initiatives. The role involves building detailed forecasts, analyzing variances, and improving forecasting systems to support financial decision-making.

The position is based in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA, on-site, with a base salary ranging from $176,000 to $224,000 plus equity.

Qualifications

• Experience building CapEx and OpEx forecasts for large projects.
• Strong FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL or large data experience.
• Experience with construction or data centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project-level forecasts covering CapEx, OpEx, and cash requirements.
• Manage recurring forecasting processes across teams to collect inputs and track assumptions.
• Analyze actual performance vs forecasts to explain cost and timing variances.
• Develop scenario models to assess financial impact of delays, changes, or new investments.
• Translate project plans into clear financial assumptions with stakeholders.
• Automate forecasting processes by linking models to data sources.
• Maintain transparent financial models with documented assumptions.
