Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead the global corporate FP&A function, partnering with finance leadership to shape forecasting and planning processes. You will manage a small team of analysts, drive automation, and improve reporting for executives including CEO and CFO.

The role offers flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid in New York City or Austin) and a chance to influence financial systems, tools, and controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or economics; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of experience within FP&A or other finance functions.
• Expert in financial modelling, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Pigment.
• Extremely organized with a natural bent towards making sense of mess.
• Technically competent and curious – learning new systems and tools.
• Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders with varying incentives and needs.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and build forecasting and planning models with IT, People, & Finance teams.
• Drive AI automation across the FP&A team.
• Coordinate forecasts and consolidations; own planning calendar and forecast reconciliations.
• Develop reporting for executive decision-making including CEO and CFO.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of analysts and associates.
• Partner with departments to drive cross-functional efficiencies.
• Forecast global budget items such as payroll taxes and benefits.
