Metric Search is partnering with a fast-growing technology infrastructure business to hire a Director within its Finance team in New York or San Francisco. This on-site role owns financial planning and forecasting across a rapidly expanding footprint and partners with operations to model investment requirements and growth economics.

• Lead forecasting and long-term financial planning for significant infrastructure investments.
• Develop financial models covering capital requirements, operating expenses, deployment schedules, capacity and future growth.
• Partner with technical, operational and development teams to translate infrastructure plans into financial forecasts.
• Analyze different investment and expansion scenarios to support capital allocation decisions.
• Monitor project spending and performance against forecasts, identifying changes in cost, timing and key assumptions.
• Improve forecasting processes, reporting tools and financial frameworks as the organization scales.
• Provide senior leadership with clear analysis around investment requirements, financial performance and future infrastructure needs.

Metric Search is partnering with a high-growth technology infrastructure business to hire a Director within its Finance team in New York or San Francisco.

This position will take ownership of financial planning and forecasting across a rapidly expanding infrastructure footprint. The Director will work across Finance and operational teams to understand future investment requirements, develop financial models and provide leadership with visibility into the cost and economics of continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and long-term financial planning for significant infrastructure investments.
• Develop financial models covering capital requirements, operating expenses, deployment schedules, capacity and future growth.
• Partner with technical, operational and development teams to translate infrastructure plans into financial forecasts.
• Analyze different investment and expansion scenarios to support capital allocation decisions.
• Monitor project spending and performance against forecasts, identifying changes in cost, timing and key assumptions.
• Improve forecasting processes, reporting tools and financial frameworks as the organization scales.

Background

• Significant experience within FP&A, strategic finance, infrastructure finance, capital planning or a related area.
• Experience working in a capital-intensive environment such as digital infrastructure, cloud/technology infrastructure, data centers, telecommunications, energy, utilities, real estate development or large-scale construction.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Experience analyzing large capital programs and long-term investment decisions.
• Comfortable partnering with technical and operational stakeholders outside of Finance.
• Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, growing organization and develop new processes where needed.

Compensation

$250,000-$315,000 base salary plus equity.
