Job summary

Align Communications in Atlanta seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. You will manage all tenant fit-out construction, coordinating trades, sequencing work, quality control, and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong data center construction management experience, with knowledge of containment systems, overhead conveyance, structural supports, and cooling

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience, preferably in mission-critical or data center environments.
• Proven experience managing white space fit-out / tenant improvement projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and site management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, including inspection of support systems and overhead installations.
• ProjectManagement skills including scheduling and budgeting.
• Candidate must have strongproblem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong stakeholder and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead conveyance, and structural supports
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
• Enforce QA/QC to meet design specs and industry standards
• Monitor schedule and budget, identify and resolve risks
• Ensure safety standards and site protocols
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
