Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support our rapidly growing Data Center practice. The role focuses on fire protection across multiple projects, ensuring code-compliant, reliable systems for mission-critical facilities.
You will collaborate with clients, AHJs, and internal teams to develop innovative fire protection designs, lead design reviews, and influence the future of our fire protection capabilities within the Data Center market.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Fire Protection Engineer for Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
- Provide fire protection system design, code analysis, and life safety engineering.
- Coordinate fire protection designs with mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor developing staff.
