Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to support its rapidly growing Data Center practice. You will lead fire protection design, code analysis, and life-safety engineering across multi-project programs for mission-critical facilities.

Collaborate with clients, AHJs, and internal teams to develop innovative fire protection solutions, conduct hydraulic calculations, and establish design criteria while growing your expertise within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Fire Protection Engineer for Data Center and mission-critical projects.
• Provide fire protection design, code analysis, and life safety engineering.
• Develop design criteria, basis of design reports, and technical standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and conduct design reviews.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for water supply and sprinkler systems.
• Support business development and client communication.
