Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Junior Field Technician (L1) to support data center operations under a mentor. This entry-level role emphasizes non-technical tasks while building hands-on knowledge through a structured program.

Fieldwork may include overtime, weekends, holidays and travel based on business needs. Responsibilities focus on site and materials support, including inventory, cabling prep, labeling and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of documented experience in a related field such as construction, warehousing, low‑voltage wiring, telecommunications, electrical work or facilities maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic technical aptitude at the entry level; formal technical certifications are not required.

Responsibilities

• Site and Materials Support: Manage and organize materials, tools and equipment; assist with inventory tracking; support short-term project labor; maintain clean, safe work areas; document daily activities for supervisor review.
