Job summary

David E. Looper & Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations on a data center construction project in the Dallas, Texas area.

You will work with the Superintendent, Project Manager, GC, and trade partners to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and coordination. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, upholding safety, and ensuring documentation is accurate.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction field experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations and coordination of project scope.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners for footings, foundations, precast, roofing, drywall, and framing.
• Monitor progress and help maintain project schedule and milestones.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety requirements and company expectations.
• Support quality control and verify work complies with plans and specs.
• Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and access with the general contractor and teams.
• Maintain daily reports, progress updates, photos, and project documentation.
• Review drawings and communicate conflicts or delays promptly.
• Assist with mobilization, punch-lists, and closeout.
• Travel or relocation to Dallas area may be required for duration of assignment.
