Job summary

David E. Looper & Company seeks an Assistant Project Manager - MEP to support planning, coordination, and execution of a Dallas Data Center project.

You will assist with documentation, scheduling, procurement, and communication with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-schedule, and on-budget delivery while upholding DELCO quality. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering and 2+ years of construction experience; proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience on large commercial, industrial, or MEP projects preferred.
• Proficient in project documentation and scheduling.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with daily project coordination and administrative responsibilities.
• Support management of project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking activities.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement activities.
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
• Support material tracking and project logistics activities.
• Assist with project closeout activities including punch lists and O&M manuals, warranty documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout documents.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure timely documentation flow.
• Support project mobilization activities and proactively communicate schedule or cost impacts when identified.
