Job summary

Data Center Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot power infrastructure in data center environments. The role involves commissioning, maintenance, and service work while upholding safety and quality standards.

Travel to customer sites regionally and nationally is required. You will diagnose UPS systems, batteries, and electrical infrastructure, provide on-site and remote support, and document all service activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in UPS or power systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with batteries and power infrastructure maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up/commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective service on UPS and power equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for deployments, maintenance, and emergency response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across UPS systems, batteries, and electrical infrastructure.
• Support installations, replacements, and system upgrades.
• Provide on-site and remote support to customers and internal teams.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain documentation.
• Track inventory and handle equipment properly.
• Educate customers on system operations and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and compliance requirements.
