Actalent is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations on large, data-center projects from start to finish. You will manage superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners while driving schedule, budget, and production goals with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial construction experience on large projects.
• Experience leading data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Oversee multiple scopes (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical).
• Strong scheduling and budgeting knowledge with field operations.
• Proven subcontractor management and logistics capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for large-scale data center construction from mobilization to closeout.
• Mentor superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners to meet targets.
• Coordinate daily activities with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and PM teams.
• Develop and update CPM schedules; manage procurement plans and safety programs.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and budget requirements on site.
• Manage multiple trades and ensure effective coordination across disciplines.
• Review drawings, contracts, and shop drawings; communicate requirements clearly.
• Travel nationally as project needs dictate.
