Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Field Deployment Engineer to travel to customer sites across the United States to validate third‑party physical infrastructure deployments and provide hands‑on installation support, including GPU servers, switches, and structured cabling. This 12‑month contract emphasizes adherence to company standards and requires the ability to lead small onsite teams and travel frequently.

The role involves coordinating installation activities at data centers, ensuring quality and security

Qualifications

Experience in data center deployments, field services or network physical-layer work.
Ability to assess installation quality and follow deployment standards.
Hands-on experience installing servers, switches, and structured cabling (MPO, ethernet) in data centers.
Willing to travel frequently throughout the U.S. and lead small onsite installation teams.
Comfortable performing physical installation work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to validate third-party physical infrastructure deployments.
Provide hands-on installation support for GPUs, switches, and cabling.
Ensure installations meet company standards and quality expectations.
Lead small onsite installation teams with minimal day-to-day oversight.
