Gilbane Building is seeking a Field Engineer II - Data Center to support learning across Project Engineer and Superintendent functions in a hands-on setting. You will participate in schedule updates, safety practices, and coordination with trade contractors to drive quality and timely project delivery.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, teamwork, and adherence to Gilbane's safety standards while supporting project milestones across a data center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 1–2 years of experience or internships with a construction organization.
• Knowledge of commercial/institutional construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
• First Aid and CPR training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and distribute project information with Engineers, Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Ensure real-time updates of contract documents, logs, and submittals.
• Prepare status reports on RFIs and other documents.
• Review quotes from trades and assist in cost reporting.
