Next Level Technician in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Data Center Fiber Technician specializing in fusion splicing to support a major new data center project. Earn $22-$28/hr with weekly pay, benefits, and long-term contract-to-hire opportunities.

You will pull, route, terminate, and test fiber; perform fusion splicing; read blueprints; maintain splice documentation; and follow OSHA site safety requirements on a fast-paced, 50-hour week with overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial fiber optic installation experience.
• Experience pulling, terminating, testing, and fusion splicing fiber optic cable.
• Proficient using OTDRs and fiber testing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and fiber routing drawings.
• OSHA 10 Certification (Required).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots).
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
