Next Level Technician in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Fiber Technician to install and maintain fiber optic systems for a major data center project.

You will pull, route, dress, and terminate fiber, perform fusion splicing, test with OTDRs and power meters, and read blueprints. OSHA 10 required; valid driver's license and PPE provided. Weekly pay and long-term contract-to-hire opportunity available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial fiber optic installation experience.
• Experience pulling, terminating, testing, and fusion splicing fiber optic cable.
• Proficient using OTDRs and fiber testing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and fiber routing drawings.
• OSHA 10 Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License and PPE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, dress, and label fiber optic cable.
• Terminate single-mode and multimode fiber.
• Perform fusion splicing and maintain splice documentation.
• Test fiber using OTDRs, OLTS, power meters, and light sources.
• Troubleshoot fiber connectivity issues and resolve deficiencies.
• Install fiber enclosures, patch panels, cassettes, and racks.
• Read blueprints and fiber routing drawings.
• Maintain labeling and documentation throughout the project.
• Follow OSHA and site safety requirements.
