Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Facility Manager to lead 24x7 teams, ensuring 99.9999% uptime for data center infrastructure.

You will supervise electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining high reliability and cost efficiency. You must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/team lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing teams with multiple direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and grown with expansions.
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet SLAs.
• Effectively manage the O&M budget and expenditures.
