Job summary

SpaceXAI Memphis is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to own reliability and continuous improvement of critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.

You will lead a team of Supervisors and Technicians, drive preventive maintenance, and champion safety and SOPs while partnering with engineering and operations to optimize lifecycle management and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 7+ years managing critical facilities systems—data centers or mission-critical environments.
• 5+ years in people leadership of supervisors or technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Facilities Operations Supervisors and Technicians.
• Own maintenance, monitoring, and performance of data center infrastructure (HVAC, power, environmental systems).
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Implement SOPs, emergency plans, and change management processes.
• Ensure safety compliance and foster a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and ops teams to streamline lifecycle management.
• Oversee inventory, asset management, and spare parts strategy.
• Manage capital projects and vendor relationships for facilities support.
• Provide 24/7 on-call leadership for critical incidents.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and resource planning.
