Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operation and maintenance of an assigned portfolio of office and support buildings on the Memphis campus. You will lead an internal team and vendors through work orders, preventive maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, and grounds, ensuring uptime and a campus that reflects our standards.

You will collaborate with the construction team on site improvement projects, manage budgets, and implement a proactive maintenance program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or supply chain.
• 5+ years of professional experience with facilities engineering or project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for facilities maintenance and operations across Memphis campus buildings.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, and electrical systems.
• Manage work tickets and staffing to ensure timely responses.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers to meet standards and contracts.
• Plan and execute site-improvement projects with the construction team.
• Develop preventive maintenance and break/fix programs.
• Establish after-hours support for facility troubleshooting and repairs.
• Coach technicians on safety, quality, and responsiveness.
• Control costs and maintain campus appearance and functionality.
