Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio seeks a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in our data centers, ensuring 99.999% uptime and reliable service levels.

You will oversee 24x7 engineering teams, coordinate with vendors, and drive improvement projects while controlling operating costs. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of critical infrastructure and managing on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/team lead experience.
• 3+ years of work in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third party vendors ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely operate as the afterhours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the region.
