Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the data center's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability while optimizing operational efficiency across electrical and mechanical systems.

You will manage 24x7 on-site technicians, subcontractors and vendors, drive safety, coach the team, control the budget, and champion continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a management position with 5+ direct reports.
• 3+ years electrical or mechanical experience.
• 3+ years engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center's critical physical infrastructure to maintain high availability.
• Manage on-site teams of 24x7 technicians, subcontractors and vendors.
• Drive safety and security culture and compliance within the team.
• Hire, coach, and promote team members; career development and performance management.
• Oversee operations budget and drive improvement projects.
