Job summary

Nebius is hiring a Manager, Data Center Facilities Engineering to guarantee 24/7/365 availability of critical data center infrastructure. You will oversee maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, lead incident response, and drive improvements through metrics and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, global AI cloud environment.

Expect responsibility for vendor management, safety/compliance, and capacity planning while advancing energy efficiency and sustainable cooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in critical facility or data center operations or mission-critical environments.
• 5+ years leading technical teams with performance management.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of critical electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, chillers, CRAH/CRAC).
• Ensure high availability and uptime of facility infrastructure supporting data center operations.
• Lead incident response for facility-related events, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor performance via BMS/DCIM and drive reliability, efficiency, and capacity improvements.
• Oversee preventive/corrective maintenance, ensuring SOPs/EOPs/MOPs compliance.
• Manage third-party vendors for service delivery, performance, and standards compliance.
