Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Data Center Technician Manager to lead and develop DC Technician and DC Facilities Engineering teams onsite in the Oklahoma data center. You will own performance, scheduling, and accountability, acting as the on-site operational authority when the IT Manager is unavailable.

The role requires deep technical credibility and the ability to coordinate escalations, vendor activity, and cross-disciplinary decisions while maintaining Nebius standards and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven first-line management ability in shift-based operations.
• Technical credibility in data center technician operations or facilities engineering.
• Strong operational judgment for incident management across disciplines.
• Experience delivering structured feedback and development plans.
• Ability to partner with HR and management on workforce decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily operational performance of DC Technician and DC Facilities Engineering staff; manage schedules, priorities and workload.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings; set development goals and track progress.
• Maintain shift handoff quality; ensure visibility into incidents and tasks.
• Act as on-site escalation authority during incidents; coordinate with senior staff and vendors.
• Oversee vendor activity, review MOPs and ensure safety and Nebius standards.
• Lead training and development for the managed teams and support career progression.
• Lead hiring for DC Technician and DC Facilities Engineering roles; coordinate offers and onboarding.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, high-performance team culture and address concerns.
