The role reports to the Operations Facility Manager and involves on-call rotation, real-time problem management, and comprehensive facility maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and BAS systems.

Qualifications

2+ years in a critical infrastructure facility (data centers, nuclear, semiconductor, pharma)
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and after-hours support
Experience with standby diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, AHUs/CRACs, chillers, and BAS
Must comply with PPE and safety procedures; strong documentation and communication skills
Technical training or degree in engineering or related field; relevant licenses preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and operational readings of equipment and facilities.
Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Participate in rotating on-call; provide after-hours support.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting of facility events.
Follow safety procedures and SOPs; work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Record work in CMMS and manage facility tasks.
Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, motors; track loads of critical systems.
Coordinate with vendors for preventive/repair activities.
Carry out preventative maintenance and routine equipment rounds.
Ensure regulatory compliance and up-to-date building documentation.
