Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Data Center Operations professional to monitor and maintain critical facilities ensuring 24x7 uptime across enterprise systems. You will work on site to manage environment monitoring, incident handling, and change management processes.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, knowledge of UPS and cooling architectures, and the ability to troubleshoot and document SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4-8 years of experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering.
• Experience with UPS, HVAC, generators, fire/life safety systems.
• Willingness for on-call schedule and readiness for emergency response.
• Strong knowledge of energy efficiency principles.

Responsibilities

• Understand site layout, MEP systems, and one-line diagrams with accuracy.
• Understand equipment nomenclature and locations.
• Create/edit/resolve/close incident reports following a site incident.
• Troubleshoot site mechanical and electrical systems.
• Develop or improve SOPs for site equipment.
• Gain knowledge of local customer business and datacenter operation.
