Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager - Data Center in Lincoln/Omaha, NE to support our growing Data Center group. You will partner with Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance.

The role involves managing equipment, planning with project teams, budgeting, and logistics. A strong background in construction, rental equipment, and team leadership is required, with travel up to 30–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in construction or PM.
• Experience in equipment rental, project coordination, and budgeting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize owned equipment, storage, and tooling.
• Plan equipment scheduling with internal teams and vendors.
• Manage large inventory and forecast budgets.
• Oversee rental software contracts and logistics planning.
• Develop process improvements using 5S methodologies.
• Lead a team of craft and non-craft members and drive training.
• Travel up to 30–50% as needed.
