Job summary

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager to support the Data Center group. You will partner with Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance, coordinating equipment planning, inventory, budgeting, and vendor relations.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in construction equipment or project management. Base pay includes a competitive incentive plan and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance/service schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize owned equipment, storage, and tooling.
• Plan and schedule equipment with internal teams and vendors.
• Oversee large inventory and budgeting.
• Forecast financials and manage rental software contracts.
• Lead process improvements using 5S methodologies.
• Supervise a team of craft and non-craft members.
• Travel up to 50% to support projects.
