Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager to support the Data Center group. You will partner with Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance, coordinating equipment planning, inventory, budgeting, and vendor relations.

The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in construction equipment or project management. Base pay includes a competitive incentive plan and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of related experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance/service schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize owned equipment, storage, and tooling.

SUMMARY

Mortenson is hiring an Assistant Equipment Solutions Manager - Data Centertosupport our growing Data Center group. This role partners withotherEquipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and projectassistance.

Location: Lincoln/ Omaha, NE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
• Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3rdparty vendors
• Large inventory management
• Financial forecasting and budgeting
• Rental software contract management
• Equipmentlogisticsplanning
• Vendor relations
• Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities,constraintsand requirements
• Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
• Lead department initiatives to include development,trainingand support
• Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
• Support innovation by encouraging new process development
• Interior and exterior responsibilitiesrequired

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years ofexperience in construction, equipmentrental,and/or project management experienceor 8+ years of equivalent professional trade experience
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong computer skills
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to travel 50%
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight(preferred). Demonstrated knowledge ofconstruction equipment and materials(preferred)

The base pay range for this role is $100,100 - $150,200. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
