Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician to safeguard and optimize critical data center infrastructure. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and fire/safety systems to ensure 24/7 uptime and reliability.

You will work with a diverse team across AWS to keep servers, power, cooling, and network equipment operational while navigating rotating shifts, travel between sites, and adherence to safety and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel between data center locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management program.
• Monitor daily work requests and manage to resolution; execute projects end-to-end.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors; ensure compliance with practices and local laws.
• Work schedule changes; shifts up to 12 hours and rotating; some locations have on-call rotations.
• Role may support more than one site.
